Toronto -> Michigan, 6 hour drive

November 20, 2009
Finally got a maple-glaze donut at a real Tim Hortons in the real Canada.  There are actually two kinds — the Maple Dip, which is just like a regular donut with maple glaze and the Canadian Maple, which is filled with creme.  I’m not sure at which point cream becomes creme, but I tasted this donut and it was well into the creme range.  We have 4 Tim Hortons in NYC, but this was special because still have to go to Canada to get the maple glaze.
A very pensive bite…
Next door to Tim Hortons, a Pizza Pizza.  I guess when you are in a different country, you don’t have to worry that your pizza chain name is the same as Little Caesar’s slogan.  Very confusing for the consumer though.
Very much love to all the bands we played with at the crazy, unpredictable dIY show at the Yellow Barn (Ann Arbor, MI).  This is a picture of the Bogue Millionaires — dig the uniforms!
